Corona and credit management

Count on Creditreform

Even in times of Corona, credit management remains a central corporate task. Creditreform has taken various measures to ensure that services continue to be provided to the accustomed extent. We have a Business Continuity Management (BPM) system and take the necessary measures depending on the situation. Employees work in the home office and are available to clients as usual. Our sales department is also at your disposal. To avoid direct customer contact, we use video conferencing solutions and have trained our field force staff accordingly. Thanks to our de-centralised structure with seven regional offices, we have a broad basis and are able to maintain operations even in the event of illness in our team. You can count on us! Let’s stay in contact!

At its meeting on 18 March 2020, the Federal Council ordered a suspension. This should provide Swiss companies with some relief in this area. The suspension will apply from 7 am on 19 March 2020 until midnight on 4 April 2020. Immediately afterwards, the statutory debt enforcement holidays will begin. These have the same effects (suspension of debt enforcement) and will last until 19 April 2020. Debt collection cases can still be handed over. We take this circumstance into account and protect your interests.

Check the creditworthiness of your customers. Creditworthiness is assessed on the basis of known facts and their effects in the past. The consequences of the official measures taken to contain the coronavirus on the economy and on individual companies or persons cannot be assessed at present. Individually relevant influencing factors must be taken into account when making credit decisions. Adapt the credit limits to the new circumstances and do not neglect the dunning process at this time.
